  • focus upon optimising a person's functional movement capabilities and aim to reduce any postural imbalances from prolonged sitting at a desk and other less than optimal lifestyle postures. Alleviating poor posture means reduced neck and back pain. To address these issues we will incorporate appropriately balanced flexibility, stability and muscular strength.


  • reduce stress levels and enhance the associated effects of exercise upon physical and mental health by releasing endorphins associated with physical exercise. This is particularly important as people who are excessively stressed are more likely to be depressed (major reason for work absence) than people who have more manageable levels of stress in their lives.


In addition to the more obvious effects of stress upon anxiety and blood pressure, auto-immune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis are also worsened by stress as are the risks of type 2 diabetes and coronary heart disease. Such factors are also influenced by poor nutritional choices with a quick on the go lunch leading to deficiencies.

  • One-to-One personal training (online using Zoom or in person) at our Aspire 4 Health Woodland studio, your home or your office.


In addition, for clients who like to measure their individual progress or be competitive within teams, we can set personalised online programmes and using specific fitness trackers we link to the exclusive Aspire4Health movement leaderboard.  Many clients are motivated by this level of competition and find it enhances their overall performance.

Since the ongoing Corona Virus pandemic your team may well be working from home and as such they are likely to face several challenges. In particular people are very unlikely to have ergonomic office furniture at home so will often make do with less than optimal desk and seating arrangements increasing the chances of the associated pains and discomfort of poor posture. Also for those working from home potential feelings of isolation, especially for people who are more used to the social environment of an office could be apparent. This is why we launched our bespoke online Restorative day time classes for small team working groups. Both the Restorative and Preventative exercises classes are held via Zoom and are fully interactive so each participant can get feedback direct from our highly experienced instructors. They can ask specific questions and get exercises and stretches that can be used throughout their working day to alleviate aches and pains and reduce tension. An example may be a weekly 30-45 minute class for your employees to bust their stress or perhaps address specific pains with a neck and shoulder workout. 



This can either be delivered for your staff members who are requiring the most assistance or indeed as a staff perk to optimise the productivity of your workforce.
