Introducing TeleMedicine from Aspire4Health

The need for the Aspire4Health TeleMedicine Service

Currently national average waiting times of a week or more to get an appointment with your regular GP aren’t uncommon. Waiting times for hospital specialists have also increased in the wake of the COVID-19 and Coronavirus pandemic: currently 10% of patients are waiting over 6 months for their first appointment.

With current pressures on GP services and time constrains in busy lives, this service offers a rapid healthcare advice service aiming to complement existing conventional services.

The service offered...

Telemedicine from Aspire4Health offers a free initial review of your problem, and if our service can help a video consultation will be provided within 1 week to assist with the diagnosis of symptoms, management of conditions and illness prevention strategies.

The service is primarily provided by Dr Gareth Davies, a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist with 23 years of NHS experience at consultant level. If the service is appropriate for your needs you could be referred onto other appropriate hospital specialists and allied healthcare professionals with recommendations to facilitate the next step in your healthcare, speeding up the process of getting you back to full health.

How it Works

Your enquiry is submitted via our free online advice service. Within 48 hours you will receive a reply as to whether your enquiry is suitable for the online consultation service, or if not what action you should take - for example some conditions/symptoms require physical examination or special investigations to manage properly.

If your enquiry appears suitable you will be offered a 20 minute video consultation appointment. The cost for the service is £47.50.

Note: The TeleMedicine service is advice from a medical professional, but it should not be viewed as a replacement for the conventional NHS GP and specialist consultations that we believe plays the ultimate role in your healthcare, owing to the relationships forged over many years and the full access they have to your medical records. The advice given is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a specific medical condition that you are currently undergoing treatment for. The TeleMedicine service is only for UK based clients.
