We believe that age is just a number and it is important to be fit and healthy throughout your entire life. Regardless of age the preventative effects of exercise and a good diet will improve your current & future health and enhance the quality of your life.
When you pass the age of 50 you can reduce the risk of many diseases and reduce the effects of ageing by taking part in regular exercise. At Aspire4Health we have designed a specialist programme of exercise for people over or around the age of 50.
Keeping your health after 50 is our prime concern
Regular exercise can reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, obesity, depression, osteoporosis, many types of cancer and can even protect against Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
In addition regular targeted workouts help maintain and build muscle strength to keep the body robust and resilient and the metabolism working well so calories burn more efficiently.
At Aspire4Health we have over 25 years experience working with clients who are aged 50 and beyond and understand that they can have more complex requirements than when they were younger. We build strong relationships with our clients and focus on what really motivates them and help them with whatever might be holding them back. The ‘Fit at 50 & Beyond’ programme is available as group exercise classes and as private or small group personal training. Classes are held either in Bingley or Online with private work either at our private woodland studio or Online from a location of your choice.
All our exercise programmes and classes are strategically designed to incorporate what your body needs at the differing stages throughout your life. Based on the latest scientific research into health and fitness, we construct programmes around your current health status to include: improvements in joint mobility, muscular flexibility, increased strength through weight bearing exercises, improved balance, coordination and stability, cardiovascular exercises plus improved mental health and emotional wellbeing.
Our class members have a range of abilities so exercises are taught at a variety of levels with each person focusing on what works well for them. We have different class exercises every week and an ever changing play list of music to motivate clients and have fun whilst on the move. New members always receive a warm welcome from the whole class.
